A photo reportage shot aboard the cargo sailing ship Grayhound, a former traditional rigged vessel now dedicated to sailing freight transport. Spanning voyages at sea and port calls, this project documents an eco–friendly alternative to freight transport.
Having spent several days on board, this reportage captures the crew’s daily routine, sailing manoeuvres and life at sea under real–world conditions. The Grayhound transports, in particular, artisanal products and wine, in line with a sustainable and carbon-neutral approach to trade.
Through a documentary approach, this series highlights the contemporary challenges facing maritime transport, caught between tradition and the ecological transition. The images form part of a visual narrative blending maritime heritage, human adventure and the environment.
